We are accepting new clients - Learn how to get started

CONTACT US WHEN YOU'RE READY TO GET STARTED
Once you're ready to start working with one of our counsellors, fill out the form below and follow these simple steps.

1. Become a client or join our network
Please reach out to book, or book online.

** Please note there is no wait for E-Therapy via email and SMS. Learn more, here.
You can refer yourself to our practice; we don't require a referral from a doctor. If you're not ready to book a session, you can join our mailing list or follow us on Instagram. You can also submit an inquiry, and we'll get back to you within a day.
2. Choose a therapist
You can review our profiles to see who's the best fit for you. If you're not sure, you can reach out or book a 15-minute consultation with a team member to discuss your needs and to see who would be the best fit for you.

3. Choose a service
Being a modern practice, we keep your options open and flexible by offering:
- traditional, 50-minute sessions via phone or video (online) or in-person,
- shorter sessions (25 minutes) for returning clients if this suits you best,
- E-Therapy via email and SMS, through a subscription,
- outdoor and in-nature sessions, year-round with selected clinicians.

You can read more about what we offer, here.

You can learn more about our online and E-Therapy options, here.
4. Book an appointment or free consultation
If you have selected a therapist and the therapist is available, you can book online on our easy client portal.

If your preferred therapist is not available currently, then reach out to join a wait list.

You can also email office@healthcounselling.ca or call 226-349-7937 to enquire about availability any time or to book your first session.

5. Complete your profile
After you book your first session, we send you an electronic consent form, payment agreement form, and obtain information like your address. You review the forms prior to your session and send them back to us.
6. Have your first session
There isn't anything you must bring to your first session. This said, some people do appreciate taking notes. For remote sessions, setting yourself up in a comfortable space can really help. You're always in the driver's seat when it comes to therapy. You can stop at any time, you can talk as much or as little as you'd like. We always follow your lead.

If you're attending a video session, it may help if you log in to our video therapy system in advance, to make sure your device is compatible.

7. Make a payment
We expect payment on the day of your session. We request credit card payments; we also accept e-transfer to office@healthcounselling.ca and in some cases, cash and cheque. If you have extended health care benefits, you would first pay the practice and then we provide you with a receipt.
