When working with me, I hope you feel empowered, important, and understood. No problem is too small to work through or too big to face together.

We all have different life experiences, so together, we’ll create a non-judgemental, impartial, and supportive shared space where you can openly discuss and work through whatever issues may be presenting themselves in your life.

What works for one person may not work for the next and exploring what everyone’s strengths are and using those unique strengths to work through relevant issues is something that I believe ensures the best outcomes for the people I work with. Everyone has the autonomy to make their own choices and move at their own pace, and I am here to support your efforts in figuring out what is best for you.

When working with younger populations, like children and youth, I believe developing this level of independence is even more important to help build up their self-efficacy and resiliency.

That’s why I truly believe in using a client-centered approach to ensure that my clients are building the specific tools to suit their unique needs.

There are ebbs and flows to therapy; it’s not an overnight process and it doesn’t occur in a specific order. Some weeks, you might want to dig deep into your past, and the next week you may just want to work through a current problem.

No one has all the answers to life, but when you’re facing challenging situations, I aim to collaborate with you to work through it together. Everyone deserves to feel supported and understood.

HUMOUR IS A HEALING TOOL

I ask you to give yourself grace. Working through trauma and difficult situations is a unique experience for everyone, and I just ask that you move through this process at your own pace, as I support you along the way.

That’s why I firmly believe in bringing a positive energy to every session and that humour is a very healing tool.
