HOW DO I KNOW WHO TO WORK WITH?

There are two main ways to connect with the therapist who's right for you.

Pick a therapist

You may wish to browse our online presence to see which practitioner resonates with you. You may want to review our profiles on our website. Our Instagram page @healthcounsellingandtherapy has a highlight called 'team.' On this highlight you can see our clips and personal videos. If you determine who resonates with you most, just send us an email with your interest in setting up a first session.

Get matched with a therapist

You may also book a free, 15-minute consultation with Kathleen, director and psychotherapist. Consultations are fully confidential. On this call, Kathleen would place you with a therapist based on your personality and needs. Message office@healthcounselling.ca to book a consultation, or book in, online here.

I KNOW WHO I WANT TO WORK WITH, WHAT'S NEXT?

Send an online form via this site or email office@healthcounselling.ca with your interest in booking with your therapist of choice. Just say, "I'm interested in working with ___. What's the next step?"

Some therapists have booking available, online. You can book yourself in, anytime. Please note our online booking status changes frequently.

Free consultations are optional. They're available to you if you have more questions for your therapist of choice, but aren't ready to book a full first session.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE FIRST SESSION?

We are very passionate about therapy and do our best to help people feel comfortable in our spaces. As such, we follow you. If you'd like to start slow, we do that. If you wish to get clear on your counselling goals in the first session, we would support you.

 

 One of the greatest questions we have for new patients is: what do you want to get out of therapy? What changes do you want to see? What would make your life better? There's no need to have it all figured out right away; rest assured we're here to help you get clear on what you need.

 

At Health Counselling, we all love our job and will be looking forward to meeting you for a first session. We all have a casual disposition and will do our best to help you feel at home here.
